An award that claims trust must show its rules before the first vote is cast. The rules set out how the CultAWARD nominates, how the public votes and how both remain protected from influence.

The principles

Six rules that carry everything

  1. No cult without a community. Without a verifiable community, there is no nomination, however high the score.
  2. First the nomination, then the conversation. Partnerships are discussed only after the recorded nomination, and every partnership is named openly.
  3. The public crowns. The Cult of the Year is chosen by the public alone: one vote per person and genre, confirmed by email.
  4. The publisher checks, he does not choose. He checks facts and rights. Up to three publisher’s appointments per class visibly bear this note.
  5. Disclosed. The AI prompt is published with its version number, and the jury minutes in summary after the gala.
  6. Nothing without consent. A nomination is published only once the honourees have accepted it.
